franja54 says: The reason why it doesn't have an article is that "jeder" (every) is a "der-word", which means it works as if it were a definite article itself, and therefore replaces the article.
The reason why it is "jeden Tag" is that when a time is given without a preposition, it is always in accusative case.

Maria Fitch says: Why do we say "Jeden Tag" , "jeden Morgen"? Shouldn't we say "jeder Tag, "jeder Morgen"( Tag and Morgen being masculine).
We say "jedes Mal" (Mal being neutral) and "jede Woche" (Woche being feminine).
I would very much appreciate a clarification on the above: it's puzzling me!
Many thanks
